O/L 2018 Results release date? 28 March 2019

New 26 Mar 2019- Department of Examinations Department stated today that the 2018 GCE Ordinary Level Examination results will be released on 28 March 2019.

According to Commissioner General of Examinations Mr. Sanath B Pujitha the preparation of results sheets have started.




Ministry of Education has fixed dates for the release results of Grade Five Scholarship, G.C.E. Ordinary Level and G.C.E Advance Level examinations. According to this O/L 2018 results should be released on 28th  March 2019.

However O/L 2018 examination was finished on 12th December, and Ministry of Education has a plan to commence 2021 A/L classes early. Therefore O/L 2018 results should be released before 28th March 2019.
