Available Degree Programs and Qualifications
Faculty of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences
1. BSc (General/Honours) in Fisheries & Marine Science
- Eligible Streams: Bio Science stream students
- A/L Requirements: Minimum 3 “S” passes (maximum 3 attempts)
2. BSc (General/Honours) in Oceanography
- Eligible Streams: Physical Science or Bio Science stream students (must include Physics or Mathematics)
- A/L Requirements: Minimum 3 “S” passes (maximum 3 attempts)
3. B.Tech (General/Honours) in Aquaculture and Seafood Technology
- Eligible Streams: Bio-System Technology or Bio Science stream students
- Alternative Qualification: NVQ Level 5+ in Aquaculture/Food Technology
- A/L Requirements: Minimum 3 “S” passes (maximum 3 attempts)
4. BSc (Honours) in Marine Biotechnology
- Eligible Streams: Bio Science or Biosystem Technology stream students
- A/L Requirements: Minimum 3 “S” passes (maximum 3 attempts)
Faculty of Engineering and Management
5. BSc (Honours) in Marine Engineering
- Eligible Streams: Physical Science stream students only
- A/L Requirements: Minimum 2 “C” passes and 1 “S” pass (must include Combined Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry) (maximum 3 attempts)
- Special Note: Medical test required after selection
6. BSc (General/Honours) in Maritime Transportation Management and Logistics
- Eligible Streams: Any stream students can apply
- A/L Requirements: Minimum 3 “S” passes (maximum 3 attempts)
7. BSc (General/Honours) in Coastal and Marine Resources Management
- Eligible Streams: Any stream students can apply
- A/L Requirements: Minimum 3 “S” passes (maximum 3 attempts)
8. BSc (Honours) in Maritime Affairs
- Eligible Streams: Any stream students can apply
- A/L Requirements: Minimum 3 “S” passes (maximum 3 attempts)
Selection Process: All programs use aptitude test results combined with A/L performance. Honours degrees are awarded to exceptional performers in their respective programs.
