Minimum Z-scores for selection to courses of study of universities in respect of each district and detailed information of course selection based on the GCE (A/L) Examination in 2015 were released by University Grants Commission (UGC).
According to these Z Score values, 27, 603 students will be enrolled for this year in all government universities with a 10% increase when comparing to last year. According to the Department of Examinations, 309,069 candidates sat for 2015 examination in which 236,072 candidates were school applicants and 72,997 private applicants.

Do you guys know how do appeals work? I’ve been selected for RUSL and I appealed for Colombo, Kelaniya and Moratuwa due to the distance factor. I’m curious bc I have to find somewhere to stay and all so like when would I be informed if I’ve been selected to one of the Uni’s that I appealed for?

My z-score is 0.555. I sat a/l in physical stream and I am from matale district. I haven’t got selected for any course.. I have an all island certificate . Can I appeal for ugc showing that particular certificate now? But I sent that form & a copy of my original certificate with my application form. But I didnt get signature from the principal. What may happend to that form?
