Let’s extend our sincere congratulations to these high achievers coming from various regions in Sri Lanka:
The outstanding performance of students from schools beyond the capital city of Colombo showcases a promising trend in the development of educational infrastructure and opportunities in these regions.
The official results were made available to the public on the night of November 16 through the Examinations Department’s official website: www.doenets.lk / www.results.exams.gov.lk.
This year’s statistics indicate a total of 50,664 students (15.22%) scored more than the designated cut-off marks. Notably, this marks a noteworthy increase of 0.58% compared to the figures recorded in 2022, reflecting the dedication by students across the island.
The Grade 05 Scholarship Examination was conducted on October 15, where 337,956 candidates participated in the examination across 2,888 centers throughout the island.
In a departure from previous practices, the Examinations Department refrained from assigning island and district ranks this year, emphasizing a shift towards recognizing individual achievements rather than comparative standings.
As part of the results release, district cut-off marks for both Sinhala and Tamil mediums across all districts have also been released. Check cut-off marks here:
