Island Best top-ranked students and best schools according to 2022 A/L results

Results of GCE A/L 2022 (held in 2023 January) have been released on 4 September 2023.

According to the results, a total of 166,938 students are eligible to enter state universities. That is 63.3% of the total number of students who faced the examination.

Island Best students and their schools of 2022 A/L exam:

• Physical Science stream – Maneth Banula Perera of Royal College, Colombo
• Commerce stream – Kavidini Dilsarani Tharushika of Sirimavo Bandaranaike Vidyalaya, Colombo
• Engineering Technology stream – Samuditha Nayanapriya of Richmond College, Galle
• Arts stream – W.A.M.Sachini Sathsarani from St.Joseph Girls College, Kegalle

Z-scores for selection of University course

Z score for selection of candidates for state universities will be announced later by UGC, after students apply for University admissions. If you need to get Z scored are required for each course in last year (2022) you can check this post.
