A/L 2021 and Scholarship Exam date? Exam Postponed

Education Minister says date not yet decided

Education Minister Prof G.L. Peiris said. said that no decision has been taken yet regarding the holding of this year’s scholarship examination in August and that a final decision will be taken soon and it will be announced soon.

He was speaking at the cabinet media briefing held on 24th March 2021 at the Government Information Department.

Commissioner-General of Examinations says A/L 2021 will not be held in August

On 14th March, It has been reported that the Grade 05 Scholarship Examination and the G. C. E. Advanced Level Examination for the year 2021 will not be held in August this year, according to Department of Examinations.

Commissioner-General of Examinations Sanath Poojitha said that this decision was taken on the instructions of the Minister of Education at a recent discussion.

Previously, the A/L examination and the Grade 5 Scholarship examination were held in August every year.
