Department of Examinations released the district cut-off marks for the enrolment of students into Grade six of the Government Schools next year (2021), based on the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination held on October 11, 2020. .
The results can be obtained from www.doenets.lk or www.results.exams.gov.lk.
A total of 331,741 candidates had applied for the examination and 326, 264 had faced the examination.
Cut-off marks according to the district basis for Sinhala medium students are as follows:
169 – Colombo, Gampaha, Kalutara, Kandy, Matale, Galle, Matara, Kurunegala, Kegalle
165- Ratnapura,
164 – Hambantota,
163 – Puttalam, Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa, Badulla,
162 – Monaragala, Ampara,
161- Trincomalee, Nuwara Eliya,
157 – Vavunia, Mulative.

162 – Colombo, Gampaha, Kalutara, Kandy, Matale, Galle, Matara, Kurunegala, Kegalle
160 – Hambantota, Jaffna, Killinochchi, Vavunia, Mulative, Batticoloa, Ampara
159 – Polonnaruwa, Badulla, Trincomalee
158 – Nuwara Eliya, Mannar, Anuradhapura, Ratnapura
157 – Puttalam
