The path to enlightenment or Nirvana, which leads to the cessation of suffering (nirvana), requires wisdom, ethical conduct, and mental discipline. Achieving “Nirvana” or Enlightenment in Theravada Buddhism requires to follow middle path of Lord Buddha, which includes the Noble Eightfold Path, Patichcha samuppada and other principles.
Recently several Bhikkus in Sri Lanka, mostly living in Aranya (forest monasteries) have been spreading these ideas as given in Tripitaka (Thripitaka). The Tripitaka is the most sacred scripture for Buddhists all over the world, which contains the unmodified, true teachings of Lord Buddha in its actual context. The Tripitaka is a tri-fold writing. They are the Vinaya Pitaka, the Sutra Pitaka, and the Abhidharma Pitaka.
We list here Sermons of Buddhist monks which contains Buddhist Philosophy to achieve Nirvana.
