A/L 2013 Island First Best Results from Galle, Eheliyagoda, Colombo & Gampaha

Adhitha Weerasiri Dias of Richmond College, Galle received the island best results in the Maths stream at the 2013 Advanced Level examination while

Amaya Mahathanthila of Eheliyagoda Madya Maha Vidyalaya topped the island in Bio Science stream.
Erandi Kanchana of Rathnawalee Balika Vidayalaya, Gampaha received the best results in the island in the Commerce stream.

Meanwile, Methsarani Lokuge of Devi Balika Vidyalaya, got the island best results in the Arts stream.


This year’s G.C.E. A/Level Examinations were conducted from August 5 – 31. while 235,318 students sat the examination under the new syllabus, 45,242 private candidates sat the examination under the old syllabus.

The Department noted that the results can be viewed by logging on to www.doenets.lk

The candidates, who want to re-scrutinize their results, can send their applications to the Department of Examination before the 20th of January next year.

The Department stated that the respective applications for school candidates have been attached to the school result sheets while private candidates can follow the specimens to be published in national newspapers on the 26th of this month, and send them to the Department.
