A Pre-departure Orientation program on living and studying in the U.S for students departing to U.S. universities this Fall (How to succeed at a U.S. University) will be held at the United States – Sri Lanka Fulbright Commission., 55, Abdul Caffoor Mawatha, Colombo 07 on 12 June 2013 from 1.30-6.00 pm.

• How to maintain your F1 visa status, what to expect at port of arrival.
• Academic expectations of US colleges and universities- plagiarism, meet deadlines, how to get good grades, assignments, assistantships, conduct research etc.
• Surviving your first year in America
• Meeting returning Sri Lankan students and learn about their experiences

Learn all this and more before you leave for the U.S. this Fall from U.S. Embassy Consular Officers, U.S. Academics, and U.S. Students in Sri Lanka. Learn about their experiences and ask them all the questions you have about living and studying in the U.S.
