Structure of the question papers for G.C.E. (A/L) Examination 2011

Department of Examinations recently released structure of question papers for G.C.E. (A/L) Examination 2011. These are still available in Sinhala medium. Recently they have sent Prototype Questions (Model Papers) for A/L to schools, these model (prototype) papers can be downloaded now.




According to this format, number of MCQ questions in Paper 1 for Biology, Physics and Chemistry were reduced to 50 MCQs. Economics, Political Science, Buddhist Civilization also contains 50 MCQs in paper 1. Paper 1 of Business studies and Accountancy contains 30 MCQs and 20 short answer questions.
