Sri Lanka’s largest Information Technology exhibition Infotel 2010 will be held at the BMICH, from 1 – 4 October under the theme “IT for Development”. This is the 10th in the series, organized by Federation of Information Technology Industry Sri Lanka (FITIS). Inauguration ceremony will be held on 30th Sept evening 4.00 PM followed by INFOTEL FORUM at the BMICH.
At this exhibition you will be able to see various developments in information and communication technology in Sri Lanka covering software development, ICT and career training, computer hardware, Office Automation , Telecommunication equipment, e-citizen services and e – Sri Lanka initiatives. You can get information on how to match career/job opportunities in ICT with the required academic/professional qualifications and skills required by the industry. This will show case academic and professional courses available in the field.

This initiative was started in 1992 and it taken through from strength to strength by The Late Prof V K Samaranayake from 1992 through to 2006 as the visionary and guiding light of the event.
