World Biodiversity day 2007 at University of Sri Jayewardenepura

To commemorate this day Department of Forestry and Environment Science of
University of Sri Jayewardenepura organized a program to introduce Biodiversity of the University to students and general public. Jayewardenepura University contains
various plant and animal life. In this program filed excursions were conducted around the university garden to show different bird, insect, lower plant and higher plant species, key features of their identification.
This program was held on 22nd May 2007 from 7.00 am at University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
