The University of Vocational Technology (UoVT), Sri Lanka’s national university dedicated to vocational and technology-based higher education, has officially opened applications for the 2025/2026 Bachelor’s Degree intake.

Who can apply (Entry Qualifications)
You are eligible to apply if you have one of the following:
- ✔ GCE A/L with three (3) S passes, or
- ✔ NVQ Level 5 or NVQ Level 6 qualification, or
- ✔ An equivalent qualification accepted by the university.
Degree duration
- 3 years – Bachelor of Technology (NVQ Level 7)
- 4 years – Bachelor Honours Degree (SLQF Honours)
Courses are conducted on weekday and weekend modes, depending on the programme.
Aptitude Test (Entrance Examination)
Admission to UoVT degree programmes is based on an Aptitude Test.
All eligible applicants will be required to sit for the UoVT Entrance Examination, which evaluates basic knowledge, aptitude, and suitability for vocational degree programmes.
