Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL)
The Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL) which is also established under the above
Universities Act offers courses of study using distance-learning methodologies. Information
regarding admission requirements of the courses of study offered by the OUSL can be obtained here.
The University Grants Commission (UGC) is responsible for selection and allocation of students to these State Universities and Higher Educational Institutes (HEIs) established under the Universities Act No. 16 of 1978 (as amended).
