Biological Science students can apply for various courses (Medicine, Health Sciences, Biological Science, Applied Science, Food Science and Technology, Molecular Biology etc.). Out of these, only biological science courses are analyzed here.

Notable Observations
- Some entries have the value NQC (Not Qualified for Consideration) indicating that students from those districts did not meet the minimum qualifications for that particular university.
- The University of Colombo and the University of Peradeniya have some of the highest Z scores, indicating a higher level of competition or a higher threshold for entry.
- The South Eastern University of Sri Lanka has the lowest Z scores overall, especially notable in Gampaha (0.5734), indicating a lower threshold for entry.
Conclusion
The data shows a significant variation in Z scores across different universities and districts, reflecting the competitive nature and varying levels of accessibility for Biological Science courses in Sri Lankan universities.
