In recent news, Examinations Commissioner General Amith Jayasundara has assured that the results for the 2022/23 GCE Ordinary Level Examinations will likely be out by the end of November (see video below). This reaffirmation comes as an extension of his earlier commitment, as mentioned during the press conference on the release of Grade 5 scholarship results.
According to Lankadeepa, the Department of Examinations is currently computerizing the results. Mr. Jayasundara mentioned that around 14 million records need to be processed.
The 2022/23 GCE Ordinary Level Examinations, which took place from May 29 to June 08 this year.
The anticipation for the release of the results is high, as students, parents, and teachers eagerly await them. These results are crucial for students, as they need them to start their A/L classes and explore other career options. Due to the delayed examination and results, many students have already commenced their 2025 A/L private tuition classes.
Keep an eye out for updates as the Department of Examinations works towards finalizing the results.
