The chairman of the University Grants Commission (UGC), Professor Sampath Amaratunga, said that the call for applications for university admission for the 2021/2022 academic year will begin on September 5.
The Chairman mentioned the following important points:
- 42,519 students are expected to be given the opportunity to enter the university for 2021-2022. The number is likely to increase.
- Apply from September 5 to September 23.
- The student handbook issued by the University Grants Commission for the admission procedure will be released to the bookstores on September 02.
- Application for university admission can be made online on the UGC website https://admission.ugc.ac.lk/#/
- Watch the instructional video on UGC website before filling out the application form online.
University Admission Z-score cut-off values
Z-score cut-off values for the next academic year will be released after applicants have applied for various courses.
In the meantime you can check Z-score cut-off values for the past few years to get an indication of Z-score values that may be required for next year’s university admission.
