The Chairman of the University Grants Commission, Prof. Sampath Amaratunga says that applications for admission to universities for the 2020/2021 academic year will begin on May 21.
The University Grants Commission (UGC) says that the applications of the students who sat for the GCE Advanced Level examination last year and released their results should also be submitted online through the University Grants Commission.
Accordingly, students should take a photograph of the completed form, sign it, certify it and send it to apply2020@UGC.ac.lk, said its Chairman Prof. Sampath Amaratunga.
It is also informed that the Student Handbook issued by the University Grants Commission will be issued on the same day as well as the Student Handbook can be downloaded from the University Grants Commission website.
