A/L 2020 Exam Results release date? March or April

Education Minister Prof G. L Peries said that results of GCE Advanced Level examination A/L 2020 will be released in March or Early April 2021.

He said the Department of Examinations commenced marking the answer scripts.

Schools reopening for Grade 11 O/L Classes

Schools in areas other than the isolated police divisions in the Western Province will be reopened only for students sitting for the GCE Ordinary Level Examination 25th March, Education Minister Prof. GL Peiris said.

The Minister said that schools should be started for the candidates as the GCE Ordinary Level Examination is scheduled to be held from March 1 to 11.

Opening of schools for Primary Grades and Pre-Schools

The Education Minister also said that all the primary schools and pre-schools islandwide except in the Western Province and isolated police divisions will be reopened on January 11.
