Grade 5 Scholarship Examination 2019 – Cut off Marks for popular schools

The Examinations Department announced cut-off marks based on 2019 Grade 5 Scholarship examination for admission of students to Grade 6 in 2020 in Sinhala medium and Tamil Medium schools (popular schools)

• Sinhala medium schools with 3 or more parallel classes  
• Sinhala medium schools with 2 parallel classes 
• Sinhala medium schools with 1 parallel class 
• Tamil Medium Schools   

Cut off mark for the Sinhala medium candidates in Colombo, Gampaha, Kalutara, Galle, Matara, Kandy, Matale, Kegalle and Kurunegala districts is 159.

Cut off mark is 157 and 156 for districts Hambantota and Ratnapura respectively.

For Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa and Badulla districts, the cut-off mark is 155.
