The Sri Lanka Institute of Tourism & Hotel Management (SLITHM) is the only Government approved premier Institute in Sri Lanka, established in 1964 to train young men and women in the field of Hospitality and Travel Industry, and is managed by Sri Lanka Tourism Board under the Ministry of Economic Development. Colombo Academy of Hospitality Management @SLIIT

The Colombo Academy of Hospitality Management (CAHM), is a joint venture between William Angliss Institute & SLIIT. They are a dedicated centre for hospitality, culinary arts, and tourism studies. William Angliss has a history of over 70 years and in Melbourne campus.

Certificate in Tourism and Hotel Operations  @ Open University

This will provide to train students at basic levels in the fast developing tourism and hotel industry. Schools leavers who are interested in a career in the Tourism and Hotel Industry and others who are already employed in the industry to improve their skills.
This is a short course with lecturers on Sundays for 30 hours followed by 3 weeks of ‘on the job training’ in approved hotels, guest houses, restaurants, airlines or travel agencies.
