If you have successfully completed the GCE (A/L) Examination, then you can now apply for Higher National Diploma (HND) courses conducted by the Sri Lanka Institute of Advanced Technological Education (SLIATE).
Update 2018 February- Applications are called for HND courses for year 2018 from those who have successfully completed the GCE Advanced Level Examination on or before 2017. Closing date of Applications 16.03.2018.
The Advanced Technological Institute, Sri Lanka is a technological institute under Sri Lanka Institute of Advanced Technological Education (SLIATE) which is fully governed by the Sri Lankan Higher Education Ministry. This offers certificate, diploma, or Higher National Diplomas on a full-time and part-time basis.

Higher National Diploma in Food Technology – HNDFT (Full Time) – 2 ½ years
