Examination to recruit Sri Lanka Custom Officer Vacancies

Update 2017: OPEN COMPETITIVE EXAMINATION FOR RECRUITMENT TO POSTS OF ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT OF CUSTOMS AND INSPECTOR OF CUSTOMS, OF SRI LANKA CUSTOMS DEPARTMENT – 2017 – Apply before 23 June 2017

Degree holders from a recognized university can now apply for Open Competitive Examination to the Post of Assistant Superintendent of Customs Grade II of Sri Lanka Customs Department. Customs officer posts are also one of the best government jobs that are available for graduates in the category of Inland Revenue Department, Immigration and Emigration officers etc.

Qualifications

You need a degree holder from a recognized university to apply for this examination. You also need a credit pass in English language at GCE (Ordinary Level) Examination.

Applicants should be between 22 years and 28 years of age.

Scheme of Examination

The scheme of examination for recruitment is as follows:–

Marks

01. Aptitude Test (01 hour) 100
02. English Language (01 1/2 hours) 100
Total Marks 200

Aptitude Paper

This paper will consist of questions to test the language skills, the ability in mathematical and logical reasoning. (This paper will consist of 50 multiple questions and questions for short answers). All questions should be answered.

English Language Paper

This paper will test the reading, writing, comprehension and communication skills of the candidates. All questions should be answered.

Interview

Candidates who score 60% or more each paper will be listed in a priority list and candidates with highest marks will be called for the structured interview.
