German Technical Training Institute – Courses

Update 2017: Apply German Tec Full Time Courses before 20 June 2017 for new intake.

You can now apply for technical training full time and part time courses offered by Ceylon German Technical Training Institute (CGTTI), under National Apprenticeship scheme.

Full Time Courses

Following full courses are offered by this institute:

• Automobile – 04 years
• Millwright/Fitter – 04 years
• Power Electrical – 03 1/2 years
• Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration – 03 1/2 years
• Tool Machinery – 03 1/2 years
• Mechatronic Technology (Industrial)- 03 1/2 years
• Auto Air conditioning – 03 years
• Auto Electrical – 03 years
• Diesel Mechanic – 03 years
• Welding – 03 years
• Motor Vehicle Body – 03 years Repairer and Painter

Both males and females between 16 – 22 years who passed G.C.E. (Ordinary Level) with a minimum of six subjects including a language and Mathematics in one sitting or applicants who has special skills can apply for these courses.  Medium of Examination & Training Instruction will be in Sinhala & Tamil.

Primary selection of candidates for admission will be merit based on the written examination.

Application should be send  before 20th June, 2017.

Part Time Training Programs

They also conduct Part-Time Training Programs  of 1 to 6 months duration in evenings and weekends. For these courses fees are levied from the participants. They offer part time courses in various fields: Electricity, CNC Technology, Draftsmanship, Electronics, Fuel Injection,  Welding, Motor Vehicle, Lathe Machine, Refrigeration and Air conditioning, Vehicle Painting etc.
