The University Grants Commission (UGC) released the z-score cut off marks for the admission of students to universities for 2008 – 2009 academic year in Sri Lanka based on the results of the Advanced Level Examination held in August, 2008.
Based on these Z-score values, 20,270 students have been selected to the Universities in Sri Lanka this year.

Have you released the cut off marks for AL 2009\2010 yet?
News stories say that 2010 Z-score marks for admission to universities have been released today (7 June 2010), by the University Grants Commission. The cut off marks have been posted on the website http://www.ugc.ac.lk
Over 22,000 have been selected to universities islandwide, according to the UGC.
However “This webpage is not available.” message returns now 10.23 pm on 9 June 2010. May be the site will be available tomorrow, during office hours.

cn enyone plc tell me how do i can obtain regarding my university selection…..do they inform us or…..any
piumi, Based on Z score now you know which courser you are eligible. Medicine or bio etc. You will receive a letter from the relevant university to come and register (it may take another few weeks to months).

Varuni on OU- normally OU call applications after A/L exam in August. Please call OU for details. Nawala or regional centers.
