New A/L Science curricula for 2011 students

You can now download A/L, O/L or any other school syllabuses from official web site of the NIE.

Major changes of the proposed curricula of Advanced Level Physics, Chemistry and Biology were presented at the seminar held on 22 February at University of Sri Jayewardenepura as part of the ViduJaya Science exhibition.  Powerpoint slides presented at this seminar can be dowloaded as a pdf file from University of Sri Jayewardenepura Exhibition web site.

    Sir are you teaching biology for G.C.E.A/L 2012 in English medium? If so where is the place

    Normally you should be able to do A/L science without mathematics, but schools will not allow you to do this way. Please check with UGC whether you can do A/L private and enter into university without O/L mathematics.

    Dear sir!
    I hope that i have not done Maths subject well at G.C.E. O/L exam. I believe that i’m in a state of getting fail in mathematics.So I thought of doing Science for G.C.E. A/L in 2012. Can I be able to do science this year after failing in mathematics in G.C.E. O/L.Because no school will be taking to do science. So can I do the science privately. Is it necessary to show the O/L results when i do the A/L exam privately. So please reply soon for my questions.

    Lashika, I think still IT is only for Arts stream, and you cannot enter into university science courses. Please check with UGC.
