Various scholarship programs are available for Sri Lankan students who wish to follow courses in foreign universities. Some of the programs are listed here.
- Latest scholarship offers – Education UK – British Council – Sri Lanka
- The Presidential Scholarship Scheme - There is a Presidential Scholarship Scheme for post graduate studies – The Presidential Scholarship Scheme was revamped to grant 175 scholarships to University Lecturers, Public Sector employees and their children and other bright youth to follow academic and training courses in fields that would meet the development needs of the country.
The Millennium Scholarship Scheme of the Presidential fund is a new scholarship scheme for G. C. E. A’Level students who excel in academic and extra curricular activities
- Sri Lanka – Canada Scholarship Foundation – This is a non-profit, volunteer organization registered in British Columbia, Canada, to help the needy students of Sri Lankan origin in their education.
- The european union’s cultural and educational co-operation – Erasmus Mundus – The European Commission offers scholarships to Sri Lankan graduate students to attend Erasmus Mundus Masters Courses in Europe.
- Scholarships by study aborad funding
- Scholarships for Sri Lankan students by University of Bedfordshire – The University offers scholarships for Sri Lankan students of high academic standing commencing their studies at the University of Bedfordshire.

i would like to conduct my higher education (A/L)in abroad. i have already finished up my O/L’s in English medium. and i have finished it successfully. i have a A pass for English as well. I’m so glad if i have a chance to do my A/L’s in abroad.

sir , im doing ma B.Pharm degree at university of peradeniya and engaged in ma final year research now , and got a notion to go for ma postgraduate studies once finish off this.. iv gotta do something for ma country outta what i gain,and thats the reason for why i selected this degree even though i had qualified to get into medical faculty of university of peradeniya. also B.Pharm is 1st time in srilanka , hope it’s gonna bring a big improvement in health(medicines) sector of srilanka… thanks.
