It was decided to form Sri Lankan Federation of National Olympiads to coordinate activities of all Olympiad competitions in Sri Lanka. We are optimistic that government will provide necessary funding for Olympiad competitions, especially travel grants for those selected students to participate at International Olympiads. Last week officials from Ministry of Education, National Science Foundation and all coordinators of National Olympiads met at Colombo. It was decided to form Sri Lankan Federation of National Olympiads to coordinate activities of all Olympiad competitions in Sri Lanka.

We are optimistic that government will provide necessary funding for Olympiad competitions, especially travel grants for those selected students to participate at International Olympiads.
