Undergraduate scholarships for studying in India
According to Daily News, the High Commission of India in Colombo has announced the offer of 40 scholarships for Sri Lankan Nationals under the “Scheme of Scholarship for Nationals of Sri Lanka” for undergraduate courses in various Indian Universities, during the forthcoming session of 2008 – 2009.
High Commission of India selects meritorious young Sri Lankan nationals for these scholarships, in consultation with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, of the Government of Sri Lanka, for pursuing various undergraduate courses in different universities. The Ministry of Higher Education has invited applications from eligible candidates and the last date for submission of duly filled up application forms is January 10, 2008.
Besides, all ICCR scholars in India are provided full healthcare facilities, first class train fare and an annual grant for educational tours to various parts of the country, apart from several other benefits.

I will be finishing my A/L’s this coming January.
I did London O/L and doing London A/L.Would be really grateful if anyone helps me to get scholarship for medicine.I wanted to do in India.I got 3 A’s(Biology,Human Biology and Chemistry) and B for Mathematics and a C for Physics for my O/Ls.
I might get an A n 2 B’s for my A/L.

now srilankan student can follow BPharm degree from three state universities namely USJP,Peradeniya ,Jaffna and Ruhuna in near future
student who qualified in biological medium can apply for this course which is four academic years and one year pre registration training-optional
I sad for my GCE Advance Level in 2009 August in Maths Stream and obtained 1B and 2Cs with A for English.
I want to do engineering but will not be selected to the local university to study engineering. Please let me know whether I have a chance to get a scholorship to an Indian Uni and if so let me know urgently how to apply for same.
